The Leofoto LS-284C LS Ranger Series Carbon Fiber Tripod is a light-weight, compact tripod. This tripod features a 3/8″ mounting stud and there is a 1/4th accessory mounting socket on the bottom of the fixed apex/platform. With the tripod’s three variable leg angles, it allows you to splay the legs completely out, so the support can drop to a very low minimum height.  The Leofoto DC-282C Carbon Fiber Add-On Column is an adjustable, two-section center column extension for tripods and monopods. Made up of two lightweight yet durable 10-layer carbon fiber, the DC-282C adds from 7.8 to 12.5″ in height and is suitable for use with supports that have a load capacity of up to 35.2 lb. The column base has a diameter of 1.5″ and an integrated 3/8″-16 threaded socket, and the top platform features a spring-loaded 3/8″-16 threaded tip that can be slid down to reveal a 1/4″-20 threaded tip, making it compatible with virtually any tripod head.
